No matter what kind of movie it is, music is a big part of the picture! From short blips to major compositions written as the main movie score, a movie would be empty without music accompanying it. Writing for short films was a great way to test my talent and enter the movie scene. There was a lot to learn and a challenge to my creative side. I have written for documentaries, blips for tv, short films, drama, comedy, mystery. The toughest job for me was a slap stick comedy, but I got the job done! No matter what genre, the movies need everything imaginable. There are many writers/composers/musicians that have tons of music that sit on the side and collect dust. Why let it sit there, let it work for you! I find writing music for film and tv an awesome challenge. Whatever the script is about I put myself in the scene that I am writing for and just ...feel and let the music flow out the finger tips. For Film and TV music there is no ''ONE'' genre that I write. This is what I love! To be able to create music in a field that requires variety. Unlimited with no boarders! My imagination and the music carry me away.
